From an early age, Dr. Kanwaljit S. Mann knew that caring for animals was his life’s passion. He knew that it would not be easy, but with diligence and perseverance, he accomplished his goals and graduated from Punjab Agricultural University (P.A.U) in Ludhiana, Punjab, India, with a Bachelor in veterinary science and Animal Husbandry(BVSc & AH) in 1981. Shortly after, he decided to immigrate to this great country and live the American Dream. Dr. Mann was an avid believer in preventative Veterinary Medicine so he decided to continue his education at UC Davis, where he earned a Master’s Degree in Preventative Veterinary Medicine. A few years later on July 1, 1987, he opened his own veterinary practice, Aborn Pet Hospital.
Like many in the veterinary profession, Dr. Mann has many pets. He has a rescued mixed-breed dog named “Lucy,” a teacup chihuahua named “Jhonny,” and two office cats named “Hasena” and “Fluffy.” In his free time, Dr. K.S. Mann likes to golf and host barbecues for the staff.
